The 2013 CTSO & GACTE Legislative Breakfast was held on February 12, 2013, in the Floyd Room of the West Twin Towers. State Officers enjoyed having breakfast with legislators, constitutional officers, members of the Georgia Department of Education staff and the GACTE Board of Directors. Each CTSO State President highlighted the success of their organization in 2012 and alumni Taylor Wingard shared a brief testimonial of the impact Georgia DECA has made in his life. The goal of the breakfast was to increase awareness of the important work of Georgia Career and Technical Student Organizations across the state and to thank legislators for their support. Following the breakfast, State Officers had their picture made with Governor Nathan Deal and made personal visits at the Capitol to legislators who were unable to attend the event.
